This is my first critique-requested deviation! I hope you all like it!
I drew out a picture of classic Sally in my own sort-of style, and put her in PJ's, with a cup of ice cream, making girl talk.
Then i colored it using Prismacolor pencils, and tried using different values of colors for more effect.
Ex: Sally's PJ's: Violet & Violet Blue
Sally's Hair: Poppy Red & Tuscan Red
I know what you're thinking, and the answer is Yes, i was thinking of the Powerpuff Girls when i colored in the pillows

I'm not very proud of how i drew her hands...

Those could've definitely used more work.
It's mainly her hair, feet, and ESPECIALLY her tail that i'm proud of!

The one thing I WILL critique you on is the use of black ink outlines for her mouth/eyes, though! It sort of gives a harsh detraction from the soft colors/outlines rest of the piece, and a dark gray may have been a better choice instead to represent the black of her eyelashes/mouth/pupils /o/ I'll admit, though, details like that are tricky when you're working with straight on colored pencil (and I'll be the first to admit I've done this plenty myself, which is why I usually avoid lineless stuff @_@ ), so I understand why you may have done that, ahaha ;w;/
So that being said, ADORABLE PIECE, awesome job with the coloring, and I hope my input was somewhat helpful!
And yeah, i know about the outlining i did. The black outlining is the only thing i did with Sharpie Pen.
I almost didn't do it, because, like you said, i wanted it all to be sort of "lineless" but i felt that people wouldn't be able to recognize some of the detail with her mouth being connected to her nose, especially since my scanner sucks and it robably wouldn't pick that up.
But i completely understand what you're saying, so thanks!
okay~
